Scope of practice: Search America has counseled thousands of clubs in all US regions and throughout the global marketplace, encompassing all private club categories: gated residential golf and country club communities, golf clubs, country clubs, yacht clubs, city clubs, in-town clubs, business clubs, developer clubs, resort clubs, private athletic clubs, proprietary clubs, and select club management companies.
Search time frame: We bring finalists to the client club for interview within six to eight weeks of the search engagement. For those client partners with a more urgent need, an interim club manager will usually be made available within 48 hours.

Assessing our client partner's need: Upon initiating the search process, the firm conducts a thorough assessment of the client club partner's requirements. Completed before any club management recruiting commences, the detailed and targeted nature of our assessment enables the firm to generate a match that meets our client club partner's expectations and requirements.
Document preparation: With the client partner's input, Search America will produce the job description, profile the characteristics of the ideal candidate, and develop a statistical profile of the club. The firm will additionally provide a statistical profile of each finalist's present club, financial statements, menus, newsletters, program fliers, club calendars, photographs and other materials acquired by the firm in the course of the search process that will assist each party in making an informed decision.
Proactive sourcing and recruiting: We identify the clubs most likely to employ the type of club management our client club partner requires. We then discreetly approach the appropriate club managers on our client partner's behalf. Our firm comprehensively evaluates the potential candidate's background and qualifications relative to our client club's culture and requirements. Our firm does not use ads as our main source of obtaining qualified club management.
Background checks: Where permissible by law, Search America verifies employment, compensation, felony and misdemeanor criminal records, civil court records, motor vehicle records, workers compensation, professional accreditation, education, credit history and other relevant personal data.
Follow-up: To assist in the effective integration of the club, the community and to ensure the placement continues to meet our client's expectations the firm maintains contact with, and continues to counsel, all stakeholders.
